This Privacy Policy describes how the Wazamba app handles information on your device. We have built Wazamba to run entirely on your device. Your expedition progress, preferences, and achievements stay with you — nothing leaves your phone.
Wazamba may use a device identifier on your device to remember your preferences and provide basic app functionality — such as saving your expedition progress, upgrade levels, and settings. This identifier is used locally and solely to support your in-app experience.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information. No registration is required to play.
The device identifier and any preferences stored on your device are used exclusively to:
• Resume your expedition from where you left off.
• Remember your settings — haptics, motion preferences, and accessibility choices.
• Track zone progress and achievements within the app.
All of this processing happens on your device. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond making the game work for you.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Wazamba does not include advertising networks or data-broker integrations.
If you choose to enable the optional Living Vision feature using your own OpenAI API key, that key is encrypted and stored only on your device. Quest prompts are sent directly from your device to OpenAI under your own account and key — Wazamba itself does not handle or store that data.
All game data — your expedition progress, upgrade levels, gold, achievements, and settings — is stored locally on your device using standard app storage. This data remains on your device until you delete the app, at which point it is removed along with the app.
You can reset your expedition at any time from within the game.
Because Wazamba stores data only on your device, you maintain direct control over it at all times. To remove all stored data, simply uninstall the app. For any questions about your data, contact us at [email protected].
Wazamba is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no account or personal data is required to play, and all game state is stored locally on the device, there is no special handling required beyond what is described in this policy.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Wazamba after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
